  • We are able to accommodate out of state students via Google Hangouts, Skype or Zoom. Some of our most incredible success stories have been from out of state students!

  • In the intensive you get:

    • Insight on getting started in voiceover, i.e. how to get an agent, getting reps in different states, how to start getting paid right away, how to get good quality equipment on a tight budget, etc.

    • Technique and exercises for breathing, inflections, tone, how to read and record scripts and understand what casting is looking for.

    • Different uncommon resources on honing in on the craft and getting gigs directly from clients. Our founder Calvin will explain how he was able to establish consistent working relationships with direct clients such as Absolut Vodka and NBA2k.

    • Access to our Alumni only Vocal Gyms for practicing your technique and staying sharp

  • We do! Exclusively for SWYSVO alum (those who’ve already taken the intensive) have access to our bi-weekly vocal gyms. Our vocal gyms are $10, and help our students to maintain and sharpen their skillset.

  • For a reel recording, we offer a 2 hour session for only $300! Students who have completed the intensive get a $100 off the standard rate.

  • For coaching (a quick recording, or an audition) the rate is $1/min. To have the intensive taught privately is $100/hr.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to future classes if a student can’t make their intended date.

  • Absolutely. We recommend children younger than 15 be accompanied by an adult. A child under 15 accompanied by an adult would be the same standard as one adult student. Minors 15 years old and older are considered adult students.

  • Reels are not included in the price of the intensive. Students who have completed the intensive get a $100 off the standard rate.

  • You are absolutely able to apply any payments rendered to SWYSVO to future intensive dates.

  • The intensive is typically from 12-6, one Sunday a month, although it is sometimes held on Saturdays as well. It’s a one day intensive which consists of two classes and typically lasts 6 hours. Dates are typically set 3 months at a time. The schedule breakdown is as follows:

    • 12:00 – 12:30 pm Welcome and overview

    • 12:30 – 3:00 pm Class #1

    • 3:00 – 3:30 pm Lunch Break

    • 3:30 – 6:00pm Class #2

  • SWYSVO does offer payment plans! We would require a deposit of $150 to hold your spot in class. The remainder is due on or before the class date.

  • Our course is perfect for beginners! It breaks down voiceover for people who’ve been told they have nice voices and would like to get started, but don’t know where to begin! The course is also ideal for actors who’ve done some voiceover work, but would like to become more established specifically in voiceover.
